Family Yard

Tools used:

Brush pen

This was an observational drawing of our family backyard. The thick, mixed vegetation and yard structures, coupled to the interesting dusk interplay between light and shadows made for an interesting study.

Tools used:

Ballpoint pen, brush pen

This is a series of observational sketches done during commute hours, capturing the modern commute fixation on phones (and sometimes on music or books).

Henry St.

Tools used:

Pen & ink, tonal wash

This illustration was a study of the Southward view on Henry Street - a small quaint forested street right by University of Toronto, where I lived for 2 years. The compositional contrast between old houses, massive trees, and distant cityscape made for a scenic memory and illustration.
